Twinkle Toes Freebie *Week 4*

Well...sorry to keep you waiting! I think I am finally finished with Twinkle Toes. This portion might seem a little random, but I needed some things to tie in with items in other portions of the kit and add a little personality. The full kit should be available in my store next week??? (for those of you that were not able to grab along the way. There may be a few extras in it when it is all said and done. As far as the quickpages for the past two portions go, I will get those up next week as well. I hope you enjoyed my little experiment and got a great taste for my designs. In the next month, look forward to 3 blog trains!! :) I must be nuts.

Twinkle Toes Freebie *Week 3*

First of all, what do you think of the new look?? I am pretty proud of myself. Still some tweaking to do, font sizes, colors and some new links/blinkies.

Twinkle Toes QP Freebie 1

Hello there! I have been busy getting week two of Twinkle Toes finished. And...success! However, it won't be released until tomorrow late. So, until then, I have made QPs out of the two layouts that I created while "creating" the kit. You can see a little of what is in week two in the 2nd QP, though I did repeat an element or two. I hope you enjoy and if you haven't picked up week 1, you better get it asap, because it will come down tomorrow when week 2 is up.

Twinkle Toes Freebie *Week 1*

It has been a while since I have done a kit freebie. I keep saying I am going to do it and never do. So, I had an idea. For the next 4 - 5 weeks I will be scrapping and creating a kit as I go. I will be scrapping for myself with a color pallet and releasing the papers and elements free for you all. Each part will only be up for one week. When the next weeks freebie is posted, the previous week will be disabled. When the kit is complete, it will be available in full at my store. Make sense? I will try to get them out each Tuesday, but if you aren't following my blog, you might want to sign up, so you don't forget to check back!

Sorry for all of you with little boys...I have a feeling this kit is going to be pretty darn girly. I don't really have a specific theme, just a name...Twinkle Toes. So, stay tuned and please leave me a little love for encouragement!!

Ticklish Anyone??

Well, I am headed to the lake for the 4th and wasn't going to fully release this fabulous kit until tomorrow, but I am going to go ahead and just get it out there. I hope all of you celebrating the 4th of July have a safe, yet fun weekend, and those of you not in the US...have a extra special one too!

As I mentioned in my previous post about this kit, Laura (simply.scraps) and I traded color swatches several weeks ago. What a fun experiment! The kit she came up with using my color swatch is so adorable. I am so proud of her for stepping out of her color comfort zone! You can check it out at inspiration-lane.com.

My inspiration for this kit was, well, my daughter and husband as usual. He was tickling her silly one night and there you have it. :) With the colors in the swatch, it is also a great kit for both girls and boys. I've got a couple freebie QPs for you all, generously made by mom2twoangels, that show the boy side of the kit. I will get to those in a bit...jumping the gun.

Spinky's Blinkies

Well, it has been a long time coming, just haven't been able to find the time to "get it out there". As many of you know, my first photoshop passion was blinkies. I have been in the blinkie "business" for about 3 years now. Oh the countless hours I spend on JM making blinkies for my mommy friends. :) Now I am opening up that service to the digi-world. You can find my service exclusively at scrapable.net, however, a little secret...if you contact and pay me directly, you will get a better price. ;) I know you have seen the blinkie services out there that charge $15 - $20 for a single blinkie and you think that is CRAZY. Well, let me tell you, I can spend up to 4 - 5 hours on one blinkie, what a bargain that is if you break it down into an hourly wage! I do not charge that much, so basically, if I didn't enjoy it, I wouldn't do it. Here are some examples of my recent favorites:

It's Me...It's Who?

Hello out there! Miss me...remember me? :) I went on vacation and man it is amazing what a week of vacation will do to your "to do" list. I've been spending the past week trying to catch up and on top of that, my computer flopped and so I had to completely restore it. blah. We are having out house sprayed for bugs today (yuck), so Bailey and I will be gone most of the day, therefore, I don't have much time for a fancy post.

A few notes:

Today is $1 Wednesday at Scrapable and I have a couple fairly new items up that I haven't had time to promote, so thought I would throw them in there today. The first is "Glam Flowers". I am afraid the packaging isn't the best, will be redoing the preview eventually, but they are super fun!!



Next is the first in a series of mats you will see from me. I use scalloped mats all the time and they are such a pain to recreate, because I never save them. Well, I started saving them and making them available for you all. They are so basic, but so necessary!!
